I needed an obstacle on both sides to keep the door propped, so I designed him with a bulging belly on one side and a large, open-mouthed head on the other. He sat quietly on Pinterest for years before going viral, and while there are many copycats now, I am proud to be the original creator of this hilarious, functional concept!

  • Single Strand: Uses Size 3 yarn (2.5 balls of 50g). Finished size: 10.5 cm H, 32 cm L, 10.5 cm W.

• The Details: For the features (using 1 strand of Size 3 yarn), you’ll need approximately: 16.5m black (mouth), 10m white (eyes), 6.5m yellow (toe pads), and 5m red (tongue).

• Fill Options: I suggest using a weighted toning ball (approx. 10 cm diameter) if you want a heavy, functional door stop. However, if you just want a hilarious decorative friend or a soft prank prop, you can absolutely use standard stuffing instead!
